We all know how dangerous the roads can be and how quickly accidents can happen. Traffic accidents are amongst the highest causes of death in both children and Adults. It is imperative that we always put our children’s safety first by having a car seat in our vehicles. So why not go one step further and simplify your life by using a double stroller with car seat.
Nowadays most of the double strollers are compatible with at least one Car seat, either as a result of Snap and go technology or by using a car seat adaptor.
You get different types of car seat compatible strollers such as your more conventional stroller that can accommodate a car seat and also a stroller that is a sort of frame for your car seats.
Each one has its pros and cons which we will discuss below, and it will come down to deciding what is best for you and your lifestyle.
When my Son was younger, I preferred not to use a stroller/car seat combo and rather chose to use a separate stroller and car seat. Even I must admit that they have their advantages. Who knows, I may decide to use one if I have baby number 2.
Now that I am broody again and already picking out names for my so far non-existent daughter let’s take a look at some of my favorite double strollers with car seats.
If you are looking for a side by side Double stroller for your similar age siblings that oozes sophistication and style, then look no further.
I absolutely love the look of this stroller as well as the fact that it offers you the quick fold and maneuverability of a single stroller.

– Click and Go system included for attaching car seat

The pros outweigh the cons on this nifty stroller, and it also has adjustable handles, 5-point safety harnesses, comfortable padded seats and with storage basket and two rear storage pockets even I won’t have a problem fitting everything in. I have my eye on this stroller.

With every type of stroller that I review there is always one that stands out for me, this is that one for me in the double stroller with car seat class.
When I look at this stroller I can picture my Son and Nephew in it, they are both busy, boisterous boys and the simple look of this stroller leads me to believe that there is not too much damage they can do because they are forever fiddling and fidgeting with everything.
That been said don’t for one-second think that it doesn’t have everything you are looking for in a stroller.
– Easy to maneuver in crowds and through doors
– Stable and sturdy
– You can add a rear seat (not included)

However, the stroller itself well priced that you can buy two infant car seats, and all three will cost you the same or less than some of the other double strollers available that also don’t include the car seats.

I actually like the idea of this type of stroller if you have newborn or infant twins, the only downside is it doesn’t grow with them, and you will need to purchase a new stroller when they get older. It is easy to maneuver and fits through doors easily, and the car seats attach easily so no need to wake your sleeping angels when moving them in or out of the stroller.
Would I consider buying one? Absolutely!!
The thing I like most about the double strollers is that no matter which one you choose they all are good looking, and most of them have more of a modern, sporty look that I like. They also aren’t as bulky as they were in the past.
With every stroller, I review I find myself picturing either my son or my niece or nephews in it. They each have different personalities, for example, I can imagine my Son in a Jogging stroller with his cousin in a car seat next to him, or him in a sit and stand combo stroller with his older cousin.
My niece is more laid back so she will enjoy sitting in the back seat of a Tandem stroller with her baby brother in the infant seat in front. It is important to me that the children are well matched to the stroller as the parents.
If you are in the market for a double stroller with car seat you are going, to find that there are more available out there than you can imagine, however, don’t let that overwhelm you, just take a deep breath and consider your lifestyle and needs and you can’t go wrong.
